Third Eye Momo & Grill

Overview

If you're looking for a place that combines bold flavors, a warm ambiance, and an unforgettable dining experience, Third Eye Momo & Grill in Cary, NC is where you need to be. Located at 10110 Green Level Church Road, this cozy spot is perfect for anyone craving a delightful mix of Himalayan-inspired dishes with a twist. It’s no surprise that this restaurant has quickly become a favorite for locals and visitors alike.

Walking into Third Eye Momo & Grill, you're immediately greeted by the rich aroma of spices and grilling meats. The decor is simple yet inviting, with a modern touch that makes it feel like the kind of place you could relax for hours, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely dinner. The friendly staff are quick to make you feel at home, offering helpful suggestions for first-time visitors.

One of the highlights of the menu here is, without a doubt, their signature momos. These little dumplings, filled with everything from chicken and beef to vegetables and cheese, are cooked to perfection, steamed or fried depending on your preference. The flavors are incredibly well-balanced, offering a light but satisfying experience with every bite. For those unfamiliar, momos are a popular street food in Nepal and parts of India, but Third Eye Momo & Grill elevates them to something truly special.

The grill section of the menu is equally impressive, offering a variety of skewers and grilled meats. The chicken skewers, marinated with a blend of spices, are tender and juicy, while the lamb and beef skewers have just the right amount of char, giving them a smoky flavor that's hard to resist. If you're into spicy food, the "fiery" options, including the spicy grilled fish, are a must-try. Pair these with some perfectly seasoned rice or naan, and you’ve got a meal that’ll keep you coming back for more.

What makes Third Eye Momo & Grill stand out is its dedication to authentic flavors with a modern twist. For instance, their version of the traditional Nepali Thali combines classic elements like dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and meats but presents them in a way that feels fresh and contemporary. It's clear that the chefs have a deep understanding of Himalayan cuisine, using the finest ingredients to recreate dishes that feel both nostalgic and exciting.

The drink menu is equally thoughtful, featuring a selection of traditional beverages like lassi and masala chai. If you’re in the mood for something more refreshing, the iced tea with a hint of mint provides the perfect balance to spicy dishes. For those who prefer something a little stronger, there are a variety of craft beers and wines to complement your meal.

Beyond the food, Third Eye Momo & Grill offers a dining experience that’s hard to beat. The service is attentive without being overbearing, making sure you have everything you need without interrupting your conversation. Whether you're here for a quick lunch with friends or a more intimate dinner, the vibe is always just right. Plus, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, making it an accessible choice for anyone.

It’s also worth mentioning that Third Eye Momo & Grill has gained a loyal following. Many repeat visitors rave about the consistency of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. If you're someone who loves exploring new flavors, this is the place to be. The restaurant is also a popular choice for catering events, so if you're planning a gathering, don’t hesitate to ask about their catering options-they’ll bring the taste of the Himalayas to your door.

In summary, Third Eye Momo & Grill is more than just a restaurant-it’s a destination for food lovers who appreciate bold, authentic flavors. Whether you're a momo enthusiast or new to the cuisine, the variety and quality of dishes here are sure to impress. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere makes it a standout spot in Cary, NC. Third Eye MoMo & Grill offers a very pleasant dining experience. I ordered the chicken biryani and the tandoori chicken. The tandoori chicken was tender and had a great smoky flavor. The biryani had a good taste, and while the rice could have been cooked a little more perfectly, I also tried the mixed grill, which was a good choice. The flavors were excellent, and while a couple of the meats weren't perfectly tender, the dish was still satisfying and enjoyable. the overall dish was still enjoyable. The service was friendly and the restaurant has a nice, cozy ambiance. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

First time eating out here. I enjoyed food and services. Really friendly staffs who are on the floor. Kudos for them. I really enjoyed lamb sekuwa and momo. They do have Himalayan Pilsner called Barahsinghe. You must try this beer. We will be back for more!

Some pretty good momos... Their speciality are the momo sizzlers on a bed of noodles... And some delicious Nepalese Lamb Kababs called Sekuwa... Was too full to try their Thukpa... A decent place for dine out, though I would point out that the prices are on the higher side...

This was my first time having Indian cuisine and boy have I been missing out for 27 years. This was some of the best tasting food I have ever eaten. Our server was phenomenal with making recommendations and keeping food on the table and water in our cups. The manager even went out of his way to give us an extra piece of desert so everyone at the table could try. We will absolutely be coming back. The Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala were life changing.

I have been eating here since this restaurant first popped up, whether it’s taking out butter chicken and naan or enjoying the samosa chat in-person. The never wavers in terms of quality and is served fresh and hot. The service is always awesome and kid friendly. And the ambience of the place is perfect for a day out with family. Another thing I really liked is the sanitation and cleanliness in terms of utensils. If you ever want to try out nepali/Indian cuisine and are new to it this is the place to go to!

This place is always amazing !! My frequent travels confirm that Cary has some of the best Indian restaurants in the U.S. β€” but Third Eye is my favorite. They serve the usual delicious (slightly Americanized) Indian dishes as well as Nepalese cuisine, which adds a nice twist.
